Albert Einstein (1879-1955) was a German-born physicist who is widely considered one of the most influential scientists in history.

Einstein's theory of relativity, which he published in 1905, introduced the concept of time and space being intertwined and suggested that the speed of light is constant. This theory challenged the traditional Newtonian view of the universe and revolutionized our understanding of the physical world.
In 1911, Einstein was appointed as a professor at the University of Prague, and in 1914 he returned to Germany to take a position at the University of Berlin. During this time, he made significant contributions to the development of quantum theory, which is the foundation of modern physics.
During World War II, Einstein immigrated to the United States and became a citizen in 1940. He played a key role in the development of the atomic bomb and later became an advocate for world peace and nuclear disarmament.
Einstein received numerous awards and accolades for his work, including the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921. He is widely recognized as one of the most brilliant and influential scientists in history.
