Prince Harry bio, marriage and escape from the Royal family

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex (born on September 15, 1984, in London, England) is the younger son of Prince Charles (now King Charles III) and Princess Diana, and is fifth in line to the throne of the United Kingdom.

Harry was educated at Eton College and later served in the British Army, completing two tours of duty in Afghanistan. Prince Harry married American actress Meghan Markle on May 19, 2018, at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England. The ceremony was attended by approximately 600 guests, including members of the royal family and celebrities.

Before the wedding, Meghan Markle received her British citizenship and was baptized into the Church of England. She was also granted the title of Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Sussex.

The wedding was widely covered by the media and was seen as a modern and diverse event, with Bishop Michael Curry delivering a passionate sermon about love and the African American spiritual "Stand by Me" being performed by a gospel choir.

After the wedding, Harry and Meghan took a short honeymoon and then moved into their own home, Frogmore Cottage, on the grounds of Windsor Castle. In 2019, they welcomed their first child, a son named Archie. In 2020, the couple announced that they were stepping back from their roles as senior members of the royal family and would be working to become financially independent. They now live in the United States.
