Ireland has managed to win the Eurovision song contest seven times, and that is an absolute record!

The Irish singers grabbed the title in 1970, 1980, 1987, 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1996. The achievement is still unbeaten by any other country. Ireland also has a record of three consecutive Eurovision victories in a row.
